Research on the political risk and entry mode of multinational companies (MNCs) has been one major subjects interest in international business terrain, factor constitute a basis for explaining whether exporting, licensing, franchising, or joint venture agreement (JVA) Foreign direct investment seems to be appropriate. As such, study examined effect as it affects strategies selected corporations Nigeria economy most developing economies characterized being exposed instability risk. The research adopted survey technique with inference expo facto method questionnaire an instrument through content test re-test appraisal before data were analyzed IBM Statistical Package Social Sciences. results from analysis indicated that franchising remains viable option multinationals second hypothesis licensing significantly reduces exposure licensor have lesser liability unstable licensee. Based these findings are recommended adopt appropriate line governmental policies economic situation entering foreign markets.
